HAFTR (Hebrew Academy Five Towns & Rockaways)
Founded in 1978, the Hebrew Academy of the Five Towns and Rockaway (HAFTR) sets the standard of excellence for American Jewish yeshiva education on both the lower and secondary levels. HAFTR is an Orthodox yeshiva with the Torah as the foundation of its philosophy.
HAFTR educates students from age two to twelfth grade to be b'nei/b'not Torah in modern society who will love Hashem, study Torah, observe halacha and connect to the Jewish nation, the Hebrew language and Medinat Yisrael.
HAFTR cultivates each student's unique talents within a program of academic excellence in Judaic and General Studies and through a rich array of extra-curricular activities. Our graduates will be prepared for life: to learn and to lead. See below to donate
YESHIVAT NETIV ARYEH
The
YNA One Year Program opened its doors in 1967 founded by Harav Aryeh
Bina Zt"l. His son Harav Aharon Bina, Rosh Hayeshiva continues to run
this program located at the Kotel Plaza in the heart of the Old City of
Jerusalem. This program trikes the delicate balance between a challenging academic curriculum
and the ultimate Israel experience. YNA is a college promoting,
parent friendly environment catering to the needs of the individual.
The program is academically tracked with the ability to move and change
levels based on personal progress. Netiv Aryeh's philosophies
are aligned with that of the Religious Zionist movement and are
consistent with the thoughts espoused by The Rav, HaRav Yosef Dov
Soloveitchik, Zt"l.
